Reach For Stars

Hey, everyone! This blog post will include 2 stories (1 non fiction and 1 fiction), inspiration, and a fiction interview. Let’s start with the non fiction story.

One day, my body decided I was ready to try the ladder at my therapy place. Slowly but surely, my body had decided to try the stairs. Now I can easily walk up them alone without being scared. Ever since, I’ve been proud to have touched the stars. (If anyone wonders what’s next, it’s escalators).

Let’s move on to the fantasy version of a story. I hope you enjoyed the 1st story!

Once, a young girl named Rainbow had wanted to be able to go down stairs for a long time but her body wasn’t ready to do it. Many years past before her body started to sense that she wanted to achieve the goal. When she was probably 14, her body was able to take the hint fully. So she took her time up until Wednesday when she achieved the goal. She was very excited. She was reaching toward the stars.

Let’s move on to the interview. This is where you will find more details about the first story. Speaking of story, I hope you enjoyed the 2nd story. (If you are wondering, this blog post is inspiration based).

Rainbow: Hey, Lillian! Are you ready to start the interview? I’m definitely ready to start.

Lillian: Hey, Rainbow! Yes, I’m ready. It’s awesome that you’re ready to start.

Rainbow: How did you originally start?

Lillian: Good question! I started by using a step stool for kids.

Rainbow: Wow. What was your progression steps?

Lillian: My order was step stool, ladder, and stairs. Anything else you would like to know?

Rainbow: No, I don’t think so. Let’s end it here, Bye, nice meeting you!

Lillian: Bye, Rainbow!

The mural is to reach for the stars.

Emotions With Animals: Hyper Beavers

Hey, everyone! Welcome back to the Emotions With Animals blog series. The emotion is hyper and the animal is beaver.

Beavers are hyper because most beavers are nocturnal. They get really hyper when some loud noise scares it away.

People are hyper for several reasons. For example, sugar can make you hyper. They can also get too excited or anxious and that can result in being hyper.

How to Avoid Being Hyper:

Connecting with the hyperness.

Take Deep Breaths.

Practice Meditation.

Practice Mindfulness.

I hope you enjoyed. Visit Camilla at https://www.camilladowns.com/ and Thomas at https://www.thomasadarnell.com/.

Rainbow Love

(This is a sneak peek below. The picture is included).

Once there lived 2 rainbows who didn’t want to separate for the love of nature. Their names were Candy Rainbow and Princess Rainbow. One day, Candy Rainbow was accidentally separated from Princess. What they didn’t know was the Nature fairy had split them in half.

Latest Weather: Thunderstorms

A thunderstorm is a storm with lightning and thunder. It is produced by a cumulonimbus cloud, usually producing gusty winds, heavy rain and sometimes hail but not always in the Western USA. The basic ingredients used to make a thunderstorm are moisture, unstable air and lift.

Rainbow Love

Hey, everyone! This story is about rainbows and love. I hope you enjoy!

Once there lived 2 rainbows who didn’t want to separate for the love of nature. Their names were Candy Rainbow and Princess Rainbow. One day, Candy Rainbow was accidentally separated from Princess. What they didn’t know was the Nature fairy had split them in half.

Candy desperately looked for Princess but there was no sign of her. Meanwhile, Princess was where Candy wasn’t. She was anxious to find him but the Nature fairy wouldn’t let her. Candy got up to ask the Nature Fairy. What the fairy said, “No, I haven’t seen her. I didn’t separate you.”

Candy thought the fairy was being suspicious. Princess started suspecting the fairy. After a year past, they accidentally ran into each other. When the fairy found out, she was furious.

The fairy decided to put Princess invisible so she couldn’t be seen when they bumped into each other. Candy tried to explain to the Nature fairy that rainbow magic was more powerful than fairy magic. Since the nature fairy wouldn’t listen, Candy decided to show her what he tried to explain.

So his plan was to use his magic and power to get Princess out of the invisible world. So when Princess saw he was stretching out to use his power, she decided to reach over and touch his stretched arc. Candy felt lighter somehow but he didn’t know how.

Suddenly the invisible spell broke. The fairy was shocked at what happened but the fairy had to vanish. “It was me who helped you, Candy”, said Princess softly. “Thank you, Princess!” and the rainbows’ love was returned.

Princess thought if people saw them, it would be easier to have 1 rainbow be invisible. Princess decided to go invisible but Candy was able to see her. Every once in awhile, Princess appeared behind Candy. That is why some people see double or triple rainbows.

Bright rainbow!

The Last Cookie: What Bellina and Mermaidia Will Do Next

Hey, everyone! The final part of The Last Cookie was delayed because I forgotten until Friday. So here it is:

Mermaidia sat down with Bellina. While Mermaidia and Bellina were eating their half of a cookie, they began to talk. Here is one of the things Mermaidia said, “I waited 108 hours to find out whether you would say yes.”

After they were done talking, they went to bed. When they woke up in the morning, they were very proud. After that, when they wanted a cookie they used the technique that Mermaidia used. You can use this very technique.

This is the end of part 4. Tune in for more stories, facts, photos, and more! Go to Camilla’s, Thomas’s, and Team TLC’s blog here.

Fearful Seasons

Hey, everyone! Since everybody is in the summer mood, enjoy the weekly story!

Once upon a time, there lived a season named Summerella and she lived fearful but no other season knew why. On a beautiful day Springel had said, “We can’t let this unknown fear pass unknowingly. Let some of our seasons go find the fear.”

So the seasons agreed to let the some of the seasons go. So they searched up high, low, east, and west. Suddenly just when the seasons were about to give up, they saw something in the distance but the seasons couldn’t fly. So, they set off just to find something to ride on.

Finally they found something to ride on but the fear was getting away. So they sped up and eventually they caught up to the fear. The fear was a season animal who had ran away. So they rounded up the season animal and brought it back to Springel.

The seasons asked Springel what they should do with the season animal that ran away. Springel suggested they keep it with the other secured season animals. After they were done, they went to Summerella her fear was gone.

To this day forward, you can find Summerella in Summer, Springel in Spring, Winterfell in Winter, and Autumn-Stella in Autumn. I hope you enjoyed!

Emotions With Animals: Fearful Fish

Hey, everyone! Welcome back to this week’s edition of Emotions With Animals! As you know summer is almost and I did a weekly story with a sprinkle of summer in it. Go to Mischievous Popsicles to read it. I decided to post this edition a day early!

Fearful fish look into a mirror or reflection. Depending on the type of fish they may quarrel their reflection. Some fishes don’t see well.

Fearful people can get hurt backs, stubbornness, dizziness, and more. Being fearful can be dangerous if you’re not careful.

How To Be Fearless:

Aware: Notice when you experience feelings of fear.

Remind: Next time you notice the fear inside you, remind yourself that it’s ‘all in the mind’ and that ‘80% of fears never happen’.

Ask: Ask yourself ‘what’s the worst thing that can happen if I do this?’. Ask yourself ‘how is this fear impacting my life?’

Write: Write down a few ways to deal with the worst case scenario – often when we get our thoughts out of our heads and down onto paper the fear will disappear.

Get Rid of Fears: Take a deep breath and overcome your fears. You should listen to your body. It will tell you when it’s ready.

Fearful: It’s okay to be fearful.

Thinking: The thoughts you are having might be keeping you from being fearless.

Feelings: Your emotions might also keep you from being fearless. Notice your thoughts and ask yourself,”Is that true?” Physically, feel the feeling. (This blogpost may help). See the section Asking for more.

Patient: Be patient with yourself.

Quiet: Be quiet and still. Saying to yourself you will progress through your fears.

I hope you enjoyed my blog post. Tune in the Friday after this Friday for the next edition of Emotions With Animals! Visit Camilla’s blog at Mindful Musings for more blog posts.

Enchanted Egyptian Beauty

Hey there, everyone! Remember all the years in the past,  when I decided to sell copies of the Egyptian Eye? I decided to sell the copies of my Egyptian Eye again this year. Here is a poem about it.

Triangular prisms sprout rainbows
From the tip of a triangle, triangles peak everywhere
Amazing colorful teeth pointing toward a catchy circle
It is an Egyptian Beauty!

I hope you enjoyed my poem!

About the Egyptian Eye:

I made this Egyptian Eye masterpiece when I was young. (I can’t remember what date I finished it and started it). Camilla mentioned that it looked like an Egyptian Eye. So the name became Egyptian Eye. I used the Egyptian Eye drawing in 2010 for raising money for getting to the conference in San Antonio, TX. I decided that it went so well that I did it for the conference last year in Salt Lake City, UT. It was a great success last year and I wanted to do that idea again this year for San Antonio. Find out more at https://lilliandarnell.com/lillians-art/ for the pricing. Thanks to all of you got a copy of the Egyptian Eye.

About Me:

I am the artist of the Egyptian Eye. I am a soon to be abstract artist of abstract rocks, paintings, and drawings. Find out more about about me in my About Lillian page. Thank you!

Jealous Crayons

Hey there, everyone! I wrote Emotions With Animals: Jealous ParrotsAngry Candy StoryEmotions With Animals: Angry Ducks,  A Sad Princess StoryEmotions With Animals: Sad CatsA Happy FairyHappy DogsA Mindful Mermaid Story, and Mindful Goslings. I hope you enjoy my crayon story!

Once upon a time, a crayon named Brick was almost always jealous of his twin Periwinkle Strawberry Star ever since Periwinkle was born. One day, their parents called Indigo and Violet thought they should find a plan to stop the jealousy.

So they called, asked, walked, explored and traveled. Finally, they found a crayon named Blueberry Midnight Indigo. The trio crayons headed back to their colorful home. Indigo and Violet called Brick when they got home. Violet pretended to adopt Blueberry. Indigo pretended to tell Brick,”Periwinkle has been sent away.”

Over the next few days, Brick got to know Blueberry. Little did she know, that Indigo and Violet were with Periwinkle who was still in the colorful home. Soon a year passed since Brick had been jealous and Brick had become a great friend (good fake sibling also) to Blueberry.

One day, Violet and Indigo thought it was about time that Brick knew the truth. So Violet and Indigo told Brick the truth and showed Periwinkle who explained she had been in her colorful red and blue room while Indigo and Violet had visited her every day.

So Brick apologized to Periwinkle for being jealous about Periwinkle’s name. Periwinkle told her brother that she could change his name to Atomic Brick Red. Brick loved it and from that day forward he was Atomic. As for Blueberry, he married Periwinkle. Atomic Brick and Blueberry became brothers in law. If you look closely, you can hear the new trio laughing, talking, and having fun.

I hope you enjoyed my crayon story! Tune in next Friday for the next round of Emotions With Animals. Also, don’t forget to check out Camilla’s website at Mindful Musings.

Emotions With Animals: Sad Cats

Hey there, everyone! Welcome back to Emotions With Animals. These posts are to help with learning purposes, animal lovers, and to help with emotions. I recently posted Mindful GoslingsA Mindful Mermaid StoryHappy Dogs, and A Happy Fairy.

Cats yowl and protects itself by wrapping his tail, crouching low, holding ears in a fearful or cautious manner, and glum whiskers.

People sometimes make noises like cats do when they’re sad. People try to protect themselves by forcing the tears into a lump in the throat. People will be silent and thinking. The people will have a sad smile, half smile, or sad face.

Here’s some tips of how not to be sad if you feel like you are sad.

It’s okay to be sad. You don’t have to be happy unless you want to get out of the sadness stage.

Find something that makes you laugh. Look at someone who’s hilarious to you, smile, read something, watch something, or draw something funny.

Keep in mind that I post Emotions with Animals every Friday. Look for my weekly emotion story!

Also, don’t forget to check out Thomas‘s blog post on his website. It’s about Thomas selling copies of his painted rocks. If you wish, go and buy a rock or 2. Find out more details at the link above.  Check out Camilla’s blog at Mindful Musings and she’ll give you more emotion tips and anything.
