Magical Unicorns In Love

Hey, everyone! Here are some related stories from my blog: https://lilliandarnell.com/2020/12/26/anna-and-hazels-love-story/, https://lilliandarnell.com/2020/03/15/the-princesses-grand-adventure/, and https://lilliandarnell.com/2020/03/09/lisa-and-the-huge-storm/. You are about to enter a magical world of LGBT unicorns. And I hope you enjoy the story!

Once there were two female unicorns named Rosa and Beth who lived in a land called RainbowTopia. The two female unicorns lived with their family and the family all thought all was well or so they thought.

It all happened when Rosa and Beth were chatting in their family’s yard one day. And they felt an undeniable spark between them. They kept talking and Rosa moved to kiss Beth on her unicorn lips.

Startled and scared, Beth ran off to be on her own. Meanwhile, Rosa was left alone to think about her feelings.

Eventually, Rosa realized she loved Beth, more than a sister. So Rosa trotted off to find Beth, who was thinking about how wrong she was to run away from Rosa. When Rosa saw Beth, she broke into a fast trot and kissed Beth on her unicorn lips.

“R-r-r-osa, how did you find me? I love you so much,” said Beth in shock then Beth kisses Rosa back on her unicorn lips. After Rosa and Beth embraced for a while, Rosa asked, “How are we going to tell our family?”

Then Beth went on to explain her idea which was telling the family how they felt about each other. So Rosa and Beth went off to tell the family with hope. Unfortunately, their family didn’t take it so well.

So they had to leave the unicorn family, and live somewhere else. And then Rosa found RainbowRoseTopia. So for many years, Rosa and Beth lived happily there with unicorn babies. One day though, Rosa and Beth’s family called.

The call basically was Rosa and Beth’s family apologizing to them, and asking them to come home. So after several years, Rosa and Beth returned home. And they lived happily ever after.

That’s the end of the story! I hope you enjoyed the story.

My Adventure To Surprise Part 2

Hey, everyone! I went to Surprise, AZ for the end of May/beginning of June with my grandparents (also known as The Romano Duo). I would just like to share my adventure with you. By the way, some of the times aren’t accurate. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy!

May 26th, 2018:

I woke up at 7:00 am that day giving me enough time to get ready to go and eat some of my breakfast. After I got almost halfway done with my morning routine, Patty went outside and said she saw donkeys (burros) across the dirt road eating grass at an empty park.

Patty wanted to know if I wanted to see the donkeys and I said sure. And sure enough, I saw the donkeys. Anyway at 10:00 am PDST, Frank of the Romano Duo (my grandfather) and Patty, as well as me, were ready to be on our way to Surprise again.

So we got back in the car, I was mostly quiet but when we passed Las Vegas and Hoover Dam Frank said, “We’ll be passing the Nevada border soon.” I said, “Yes, I know.” as I already been through there twice.

Around 12:15 pm (my preferred lunchtime) to 1:00 pm, we stopped in Kingman, AZ to go to the restroom in Burger In-N-Out and Patty had Frank go get me some french fries. After he was done, Frank drove over to the nearest gas station so Patty could get the rest of the food for me and get gas for Frank and Patty’s car.

After 13 minutes, we were in Arizona desert. Eventually, at 1:27, I asked Patty and Frank for the estimated time we had left and Frank said, “At least 2 hours or 1 and a half hours.” At that point, I mentally started a time check and looked out the window for the first sign of Surprise, AZ.

Around 2:44 pm, I asked again and Frank said, “Less than an hour.” as 3:00 pm was getting closer and I was very excited. At 2:50 pm, there were only 16 minutes left until we arrived. At 2:58 pm, there were 10 minutes left. At 3:00 pm, I was looking out the window at Surprise, AZ.

At 3:10 pm, we arrived in Surprise, AZ. My calmness returned when I stepped into Patty’s and Frank’s house but I needed to go to the restroom so I had Patty show me the master bathroom.

Anyway, when I was just talking to Patty in Patty and Frank’s bedroom, my uncle Robert  (who I never met) walked in to say he needed to go to the grocery store. Finally, he noticed and Patty introduced us.

I was kind of shy at first (I usually can be but it doesn’t last long). Fortunately, Patty had to go to Trader Joe’s to find the stuff on the list and I volunteered to go with them. So we all got in the car to Trader Joe’s and Wal-Mart (don’t really care for Wal-Mart).

Surprisingly, we were back at the house in 30 minutes. Anyway, I asked Patty for her laptop so I could easily code and look at Accuweather. Of course at 4:00 pm or more, Patty and Frank started making dinner. We had dinner at 7:00 pm though.

After the dinner, I decided to chill out and rest some while talking to Patty and Frank. After some time had passed, I went ahead and got ready for bed. Of course, I stayed up late (that happened the whole time). Once, I got into bed I read and played games on my phones until 12:30 am when I got up to put my water away.

After I turned out the light and my head hit the pillow, I fell asleep immediately.

I borrowed the photo from Google Images… A burro in Beatty

The Hummingbird Fairy Wings

Hey, everyone! I got the idea to write a story about a hummingbird when my grandmother Patty of the Romano Duo remarked,”The hummingbird wings look like little fairy wings.” in Surprise, AZ when I was visiting Surprise, AZ. Thank you, Patty! Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

Once many years ago, there lived a hummingbird named Abby who was very curious. One day, Abby wondered, “Why do I have such small wings?”. So Abby asked her mother and her mother responded, “Well, there was a fairy named Rebecca who was very curious just like you, Abby.”

Abby’s mother paused for effect. Abby’s mother continued her story,”One day, Rebecca saw some flowers that had delicious nectar and she starting eating nectar. Suddenly, Rebecca noticed a sudden tingling coming from her wings. ”

Abby’s mother smiled and stopped to catch her breath. Abby said impatiently,”Hurry up, mother! I want to hear more of the story.” Abby’s mother said, “Ok, I was just catching my breath.”

“Rebecca wondered what was happening and asked her mother what happened. And like me, her mother told her the answer through a story. By the time her mother finished the story, Rebecca turned into a hummingbird.”, said Abby’s mother knowingly.

“So Rebecca went to a wizard to get a special spell that would allow her to swap back and forth between a fairy and a hummingbird. And she still can be found today as a fairy and hummingbird.”, explained Abby’s mother. After Abby’s mother finished her story, her mother asked, “Would you like to know a secret?”.

Abby said excitedly, “Yes, please!”. So her mother said, “I am Rebecca. That is my secret now.” Rebecca laughed when Abby said, “I knew there was something magical and musical in you.”

If you see a hummingbird, that may be Rebecca or Abby flying by. Anyway, that’s the end of the story. I hope you enjoyed!

Why Ladybugs Wear Black And Red

Hey, everyone! I got inspired on April 10th when my mother Camilla Downs saw a ladybug in her hair. Here are some related links: https://lilliandarnell.com/2018/04/16/why-butterflies-float-in-the-sky/https://lilliandarnell.com/2018/04/13/why-flowers-dance-in-the-wind/, and https://lilliandarnell.com/2018/03/23/why-trees-dance-in-the-wind/. I hope you enjoy!

One day long ago, there lived a ladybug named Spotty (nicknamed Oreo) who loved to eat Oreos. Her mother even teasingly joked that if she didn’t stop eating Oreos, she would turn red and black all over.

Little did Spotty know, there was an evil wizard hiding behind a huge bush who planned to turn Spotty and future ladybugs red and black all over. So one day the wizard disguised herself as an aunt to Spotty.

The wizard asked, “Can my favorite niece stay over at my home?”. Spotty said, “Sure thing, Angelina (the name of her real aunt).” Boy, Spotty was surprised when she saw a wizard’s lab instead of a cozy home with 2 beds.

The wizard took off the disguise and secretly did the potion. After she was done making the potion, she disguised herself once again as an aunt. “Spotty, my dear. I have some of your favorite fruit juice”, said the wizard.

Spotty said, “Thank you, Angelina! I was thirsty.” As soon as Spotty took a sip of the potion, Spotty said, “I feel funny.” “Keep drinking the juice, it will help you feel better”, said the wizard knowingly.

So Spotty continued to drink the juice until the cup was empty. When she looked in the mirror and saw her reflection, she gasped. She was red with black spots all over.  The wizard walked in not wearing the disguise.

Spotty said, “I knew it, you are a wizard. You aren’t my aunt.” Spotty flew all the way home. Luckily, the wizard’s potion didn’t affect most ladybugs. So if you see a red with blacks dots, it might be Spotty.

Amazing Nature Party: What the Guests Did At The Party

Hey, everyone! This is part 6 of the Amazing Nature Party series. In this part of the series, you’ll find the answers to the questions asked in Part 5. I hope you enjoy!

The party guests were very pleased that the unicorn and the Nature fairy came to their incredible party so they made the unicorn and the Nature fairy the guests of honor.

The Nature fairy  said, “I really must go to get you more attention for your nature party. I really enjoyed being the guest of honor and my unicorn said that she enjoyed being the animal of honor.”

As she spoke kindly, she got ready to go find some people who would be inspired, impressed, and most importantly have fun at the party.

Meanwhile, the nature party leader decided to make better expressions so the guests rode their animals and had a race. They also set up games, entertainment, and more.

The Nature fairy found some great people who are willing to give the Nature party a try. She also found polar seals, tiger dog, and other fantasy animals.

Who were the people that were willing to give the Nature party a try? Why did the nature party need more impressions?

That’s the end of part 6 of the Amazing Nature Party series. Keep your eyes peeled for part 7 of the Amazing Nature Party.

Amazing Nature Party: The Surprises

Hey, everyone! This is part 5 of the Amazing Nature Party series. In this part of the series, you’ll read about surprises and the answers to the questions in part 4.

The nature animals and plants cheered with excitement for the nature party that began. The animals sang while the trees danced because they were excited. The special visitor was a unicorn and a special fairy called the Life and Nature Fairy.

The nature things asked, “Why is a unicorn with Life and Nature Fairy here? Is there a reason?” The fairy said, “I’m here because I’ve heard about this unique nature party. I’ve heard about the party from my good friend the animal fairy and I’ve come to help you get some more people to hear about this lovely party.”

“I’m glad you think our party is unique and lovely. We certainly could use more attention”, thought the nature party leader. So the nature fairy set off to find some people, fairies, princesses, fantasy animals, and mermaids.

One by one, the guests began to arrive. What did the guests do when they got there? That’s the end of part 5 of the Amazing Nature Party. I hope you enjoyed!

The animals saw incredible nature decorations and their eyes got wide open from seeing such majestic detailed decorations.  “Let the party begin!” exclaimed the nature team who helped organized such a wondrous and thriving party.

All the nature things said, “Yes, let the party begin.” All the nature things cheered and whooped. The animals sang while the trees danced. At 3:00pm precisely, they had a special visitor come to their extravaganza nature party.

Why did the nature things cheer? Why did the animals sing while the trees danced? Who was the special visitor? That’s the end of part 4 in the Amazing Nature Party. Keep your eyes open for part 5 of the Amazing Nature Party. Look at my other blog posts while you’re waiting.

Emotions With Animals: Wise Tortoise & Shy Turtles

Hey, everyone! Welcome back to this week’s bonus edition of Emotions With Animals. The bonus is in honor of water. This week’s edition includes tortoises and freshwater turtles. Let’s begin!

Wise tortoises live longer than average humans. So it makes them seem wise.

Wise people have many experiences. They also meditate.

How To Be Wise:

Know that you are wise from the heart.

Help people. (This might make you feel and be wise.)

Shy turtles are scared of humans. So if you see one, you might be in luck. Turtles can be so shy that if you make any noise they’ll just go back underwater.

Shy people stutter, blush, shake, breathless, or speechless. Shy people might rarely talk. When they do talk, they might be so nervous that they stutter.

How To Avoid Being Shy:

Overcoming your shyness will take practice.

Take slow, steady steps forward. Going slow is okay but be sure to go forward. Stepping back from any situations that trigger you to feel shy can reinforce shyness and keep it at a level that’s hard to get past. Build confidence by taking one small forward step at a time.

It’s okay to feel awkward. It happens to everyone.

Know you can do it.

Be true to yourself.

Pay attention to the thoughts you are having when you’re experiencing shyness.

Remind yourself that no one can see the butterflies in your stomach.

Take deep breaths.

Have sips of water. (This is healthy).

I hope you enjoyed this week’s bonus edition of Emotions with Animals. Tune in next week for the next edition of Emotions With Animals.
