Reach For Stars

Hey, everyone! This blog post will include 2 stories (1 non fiction and 1 fiction), inspiration, and a fiction interview. Let’s start with the non fiction story.

One day, my body decided I was ready to try the ladder at my therapy place. Slowly but surely, my body had decided to try the stairs. Now I can easily walk up them alone without being scared. Ever since, I’ve been proud to have touched the stars. (If anyone wonders what’s next, it’s escalators).

Let’s move on to the fantasy version of a story. I hope you enjoyed the 1st story!

Once, a young girl named Rainbow had wanted to be able to go down stairs for a long time but her body wasn’t ready to do it. Many years past before her body started to sense that she wanted to achieve the goal. When she was probably 14, her body was able to take the hint fully. So she took her time up until Wednesday when she achieved the goal. She was very excited. She was reaching toward the stars.

Let’s move on to the interview. This is where you will find more details about the first story. Speaking of story, I hope you enjoyed the 2nd story. (If you are wondering, this blog post is inspiration based).

 Rainbow: Hey, Lillian! Are you ready to start the interview? I’m definitely ready to start.

Lillian: Hey, Rainbow! Yes, I’m ready. It’s awesome that you’re ready to start. 

Rainbow: How did you originally start?

Lillian: Good question! I started by using a step stool for kids.

Rainbow: Wow. What was your progression steps?

Lillian: My order was step stool, ladder, and stairs. Anything else you would like to know?

Rainbow: No, I don’t think so. Let’s end it here, Bye, nice meeting you!

Lillian: Bye, Rainbow!

Sparkle: A Sparkly Life as a Fairy Princess

Hello, everyone! If you have a holiday you’re celebrating, enjoy it! This story is a fantasy version of my life. Hope you enjoy my story!

Once upon a time, there lived two parents who wanted at least a daughter and a son. So one night on September 13 in the year 2000, a daughter was born at 9:00pm. Her name was Sparkle because her eyes sparkled like diamonds ever since she opened her eyes for the first time. When Sparkle was 4, her mother discovered that her daughter had a short arm deletion called 18p- and her mother decided to find out as much as possible about 18p-. When Sparkle was 5, her parents had a son on November 12 in the year 2005. His name was Ocean because he had ocean colored eyes ever since he had opened his eyes for the first time. When she was 9, she went to her first 18p- conference in Las Vegas. She made 2 friends named Rainbow and Shimmer and she had a lot of fun at her 1st conference! Ever since then, she liked the conferences. She had gotten books, clothes, homemade stuff, and other store-bought stuff for Christmases to come. When she was 15, she got almost everything she wanted especially the laptop and telescope. She even got what she wanted for her birthday. So far, they live happily ever after!

Egyptian Eye Painting For A Special Cause

I have decided to sell prints of my artwork, Egyptian Eye, to help me and my family go to the 18p- conference at Salt Lake City this July 2015. The 18p- conference means I get to see my 18p- friends, traveling, getting a lot of exercise, finding new restaurants, and exploring around the city. I want to help pay for our hotel room and gas as we get to drive this year since it’s so close. It’s in a different location every year. You can learn more about chromosome 18 differences by going here.

Around August 1, 2015, we will donate 15% of profits to Demi’s Difference. Demi is a chromosome 18 friend who passed away unexpectedly in December 2014. Her family created this wonderful nonprofit to spread kindness, love and joy to others. Here’s the Egyptian Eye:

Please note that I came up with the idea and Camilla helped me by scanning the Egyptian Eye. Camilla also suggested donating a portion to Demi’s Difference.

My favorite part of the conference was hanging out with my friends in the pool and anywhere else in the hotel. The feeling felt great, excited, and good!

  1. We need  any glitter (some might use glue) and any kind of paper you have and want.
  2. Sparkle glitter on the paper (if your glitter uses glue, use the glue first instead)
  3. Let the pretty thing on the paper dry.

Simple and easy, should dry in no time at all.

Book Review – My Secret Unicorn A Special Friend

My Secret Unicorn Books (My Secret Unicorn -5 Books, The Magic Spell, Dreams Come True, Starlight Surprise, A special Friend, Stronger than Magic) (amazon affiliate link)

This book is about ponies, unicorns and special friends. It made me feel good.

Lauren is a girl about my age with short straight hair. She liked Moonshine and she discovered Twilight was a unicorn. Moonshine is a white pony .  I like unicorns but not horses  but I loved the book ever since. I recommend to read My Secret Unicorn A Special Friend (this book).

 

 

 

 

Learning about Leaves

I had fun going out collecting leaves yesterday and I enjoyed taking a picture of all  the leaves. The wind was blowing so hard that I had to go inside to get my warm scarf and then I went back out until it was time to get Thomas. When we got home I went to some leaf tumble stories,  a leaf  jigsaw puzzle and a BrainPop leaf video on the internet.
