Hey, everyone! As you know, March 21st is World Poetry Day. I’ve decided to write a poem and add a poem from last year and this year to celebrate. Here are some related blog posts: http://lilliandarnell.com/2016/10/17/lillians-triple-poems/, http://lilliandarnell.com/2014/03/13/easter-poems/, http://lilliandarnell.com/2014/03/12/what-am-i-poems/, and http://lilliandarnell.com/2018/03/21/fun-poem-extravaganza/. I hope you enjoy!
Flowers shine bright
through the gloomy winter
Into the glorious spring weather.
Flowers flow like a sparkling river
Through the snow and rain
As a welcoming robin ready to mate.
Flowers dance gracefully in the windy day
Of gloom and sunshine
Flowers thankfully drink water
from it’s thirsty roots.
Here’s the fourth poem that I wrote today:
Butterflies are dancing
In the ocean blue sky
Like a hummingbird floating
In an ocean
Of flowers dancing to water
