Book Review: The One and Only Willa Bean

This is about: Willa Bean thinks that every flying friend should be one of a kind, like her owl, Snooze, and is very upset when a new girl arrives at Cupid Academy with a much larger owl, Mr. Wingston. 

    1. My favorite part was when she met Lucy Summerbreeze. Lucy looked nice that’s why liked it.
    2. The main character is Willa Bean (Willa is always curios), Willa got along with Lucy. 
    3. This book is an illustrated chapter book.
    4. The illustrations showed what and who were in the pictures.

I like it because of all the characters. Also, the cover. 

  1. People who like school, owls, Cupid, and individuality would like this book.
  2. The author is Cecilia Galente.
  3. The publisher is The Random Inc. Company
  4. The illustrator is Kristi Valiant.
  5. Lastly, I recommend the book.

Book Review – Class Pets: The Ghost of P.S. 42

What this book is about is Jake and Molly (are brother and sister mice) looking for a new home to live in when they discovered P.S. 42 but Jake was too plump to get in through a crack. Meanwhile, Molly first discovered what kind of animals lived in the school (including  Gino, a ghost) had told Molly what P.S. stood for. My favorite was when the lovebirds (who also lived in the school) were dancing in the air. Because the book said beautiful and that’s why I liked it. Molly and Jake moved from Deli Dan’s because they were old enough to leave that place. Molly and Jake had gotten too curious and got into too much trouble.

This is a chapter book and Fantasy book. The illustrations helped to show what they were doing. I liked it because the book said beautiful. It had a lot humor and emotion. People who like humor and emotion would like this book. I recommend it.

My desk is for writing and the computer and printer are in the kitchen.We did that 12/26/12. Two miniature chairs (12/26/12) and couch in a spot of the living room (November 24, 2012). Medium-sized couch in bedroom (12/24/12). Rug in front of pantry (12/30/12). Here’s how we did it:

  1. Clean
  2. Help
  3. Move
  4. Relax
  5. Have fun

Scavenger Hunt at Grassroots Bookstore and RC Willeys 6.11.12

Did you know Grassroots Books? Check grassrootsbooks.com. Also we went on a scavenger hunt at Grassroots Bookstore, but first our mom went to the post office to send some of her books. Then lastly we went to RC Willey’s. We did not get home until 5:30. Check googlemaps.com. We were exhausted.

  1. We need  any glitter (some might use glue) and any kind of paper you have and want.
  2. Sparkle glitter on the paper (if your glitter uses glue, use the glue first instead)
  3. Let the pretty thing on the paper dry.

Simple and easy, should dry in no time at all.
