My family and I attend The Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society Conference every year.
This year it is being held in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It’s in a different location every year as a member hosts it.
The conference is important to me because I get to meet new people and I get the courage to try something new. It’s also important because I get to travel and have adventures.
The reason why my family and I attend the conference is I have 18p- deletion. What 18p- deletion is there’s a deletion of the short arm of the chromosome 18.
Going to the conference is expensive. It can cost anywhere from $3,500 to $4,250 for all three of us to attend; depending on if we have to fly. If you’d like to help us, you can donate here, buy my book, or visit my art creations to see if anything interest you. Thank you!
