Rainbow’s Crushes

Hey, everyone! I wrote this because I was inspired by my dear friend that I love and miss. Here are some related links: https://lilliandarnell.com/2020/12/26/anna-and-hazels-love-story/https://lilliandarnell.com/2020/12/28/magical-unicorns-in-love/https://lilliandarnell.com/2020/03/15/the-princesses-grand-adventure/. Anyways I hope you enjoy!

Once years ago there lived a mermaid named Rainbow who lived in the ocean’s deep blue depth who lived there with her good friends Pearl and Coral. Rainbow dreamed of seeing the deep dark blue sky and seeing unicorns.

While up in the sky soaring high above in the earth’s deep dark blue, lived a unicorn named Skyla who dreamed of seeing mermaids and the mysterious deep blue of the sea.

Skyla lived with her best friends Skyler and Skye who loved making rainbows all over the sky and making them dance. They both lived happily in their beloved homes. But little did they know the next day would change their worlds as they knew it forever.

Anyways that night Rainbow asked Pearl and Coral if they could swim close to the surface tomorrow. Meanwhile, Skyla asked Skyler and Skye if they could fly close to the water tomorrow.

Pearl and Coral said yes they all could. While Skyler and Skye said they could. So Skyla and Rainbow went to sleep excited, that their dreams were about to come true. So the next day, Rainbow put on her rainbow outfit.

And Rainbow went about her day like normal and realized that she felt attracted to unicorns and mermaids (bi; but here it’s called magical aquatic love) during that time. Meanwhile, Skye put on her favorite sky outfit and went about her day.

Skyla realized she was attracted to unicorns and mermaids as well. At the same time, it made Skyla and Rainbow even more excited. Later that day, Rainbow swam up to the surface with her friends.

And there was Skyla with her friends hovering over the water. Rainbow and Skyla started talking right away. They talked about everything like rainbows, seashells, fish, the sun. But sadly, the time came for them to go back to their homes.

For a while though Rainbow and Skyla got permission to go see each other. Rainbow eventually started crushing on Skyla. Rainbow and Skyla did everything together, they even found some food that allowed them to be underwater or in the sky together.

After a while Rainbow was ready to tell Skyla how she felt, she was so afraid. But she flew up to Skyla bravely blushing saying that she liked her. And Skyla admitted, also blushing that she felt the same way.

They kissed and started living life together. And they all lived happily ever after.

That was the end of the story! I hope you enjoyed it.

Emotions With Animals: Angry Ducks

Hey there, everyone! Welcome back to Emotions With Animals. This week’s emotion is Anger. I also have recently wrote A Sad Princess StoryEmotions WIth Animals: Sad CatsA Happy FairyHappy DogsA Mindful Mermaid Story, and Mindful Goslings if you haven’t seen these blog posts yet. Thank you for everyone who has visited these linked blog posts!

Angry ducks hiss and beat nearby ducks. Angry ducks can fight like people. Angry ducks are similar to people.

Angry people have meltdowns. Angry people have arguments. Angry people also hiss. Angry people beat other people and objects.

Here are some ways to stop anger:

Separate emotion and action: It’s easier to get rid of the anger when you separate those emotions and actions. You might feel a little better when you do this.

Do Some Exercises: This will cool yourself down when angry. It will also help your body stay healthy and strong.

Delay your Reaction: This will help you get centered again. Inhale deeply and as you exhale, count to ten or repeat a phrase that helps you relax several times.

Distract Yourself: Read a good book that will make you feel happy, watch a movie that will make you smile or feel good, and think of a good memory. You could also try painting, drawing, writing, and more!

Discuss Your Anger With Someone You Trust: This might make you feel better. It could be a family member, friend, or someone you play or work with. The person you talk to may have experienced it themselves.

Listen to Music: Listening to the music may help you feel better. Listen to aggressive music that matches your mood allows you to work through the emotion productively. Listen to slower music (such as acoustic or Hawaiian music) allows you to slow your thought process and calm down.

Write a E-Mail To Yourself: I know it might sound silly but it will help you feel a lot lighter once your done. Write out your anger and then continue to revise the e-mail as you think of new things you would’ve liked to say at the time.

Get everything out of your system about the issue on your own time, as the words come to you. Once you have nothing more to say and you’ve perfected the e-mail.  Go delete the email. Use erasing the e-mail as a symbolic gesture toward letting go of what’s bothering you.

Disconnect from Your Triggers

Watch a Funny Show/Movie: See the Distract Yourself to see info on this section.

Accept and Know: It’s okay to feel angry and be angry.

Focus: Where do you feel the anger in your body? How does it feel? Does it feel tight, painful, or tight.  Focus on all of that. Eventually, it should go away. Of course, if it’s your first few times it may not work for you because it takes practice.

Do something: Take few deep breaths, look at a flower, look at a tree, look at birds, or go for a walk.

Don’t say judgemental things About Anger: You’ll feel better after you have done this.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this blog post. See you next time at Emotions With Animals!

Cute Angry Duck. Doesn’t it look adorable?

A Mindful Mermaid Story

Hey there! I think that mindfulness is a helpful thing to use. Hope you enjoy it. Visit my mindfulness blog post to learn more. I recently wrote Happy Dogs.

Mindful Mermaid

Once upon a time, there lived a mermaid who always had prefered to be having adventurous to staying in her mermaid cave. Her name was Evangeline E. (E stands for Emma) Rose. One day, her parents wanted her to be like her mermaid siblings. Despite what her parents wanted her to do, she wanted to be full of life. So she went to do some MM (mermaid meditation) to see who was right.

Even the meditation didn’t help, so she fretted until a fairy godmother suddenly appeared and Evangeline exclaimed, “Thank goodness! Can you help me decide who’s side to take?” So the godmother said, “Oh my goodness! I can help you by telling you to be mindful of your parents’ choice.” So Evangeline went to talk over her choice with her parents and after a while, they saw how mindful she was. They could also see that she had a point. So they let her continue to be adventurous and she lived happily ever after. That’s the story of how Evangeline learned to be mindful.

If you look carefully, you can see Evangeline being mindful. She might give you mindful advice!

Mindful Goslings

Hey, there! My blog post is to help  most people see that animals can be mindful at times. This blog post is especially for animal lovers or pet lovers. I recently wrote Happy Dogs, and A Mindful Mermaid Story.

You have to be calm and very quiet to approach baby geese. If you get loud and perhaps angry, they would just hiss at you or follow you.

If you were meditating, you’d want quiet and soothing environment around you. If you have any disruptions, you’d explode like a volcano or you’d lose your temper (like hissing and chasing you).

Mindfulness is good and very simple. Here’s some ideas that I’d like to share with you:

Reading: Try reading a calm book for a change.
Look in Nature: Focus on nature.
Coloring: Coloring will help you keep your mind sharp.

Here’s some ideas from the Internet:

Meditation will help clear your mind.
Breathing will help you feel better.

Here’s some ideas from Camilla Downs:
